Who this notice covers
This notice explains how Ransom Secure LLC handles information collected through this website and initial business enquiries. It does not replace the privacy, confidentiality or data-processing terms agreed for a client engagement. Contact [email protected] or write to 2232 Dell Range Blvd, Suite 303, Cheyenne, WY 82009 with a privacy question.
Information you provide
Our enquiry form asks for your name, email address, telephone number and message. We also receive the page associated with the enquiry and the date and time of submission. We may receive additional business contact information when you correspond with us. Please do not send passwords, access keys, sensitive personal records or confidential incident evidence through the general enquiry form.
Technical information
Our hosting and security services process technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information and timestamps to deliver the website, diagnose faults and protect against misuse. Logged-in administrators also use authentication and security cookies. Our Cookie Policy explains the website’s use of cookies and similar technologies.
How we use information
We use enquiry details to respond to your request, arrange an appropriate conversation, understand your requirements and manage relevant follow-up. We use technical information to maintain the website and investigate security or operational issues. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Sharing and service providers
We do not sell enquiry information or share it with third parties for advertising. Service providers may process information to host and protect the website and deliver communications. These services include DigitalOcean hosting, Cloudflare security and network services, and our email providers, including Brevo for website delivery and Microsoft for our mailbox. We may disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, misuse or legal claims.
Retention
Our policy is to delete unsuccessful enquiries after 12 months unless the information is needed for an ongoing relationship, a legal obligation or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Relevant information may become part of a client record if an engagement follows. Technical security records are retained according to their operational purpose and applicable provider settings. Contact us if you would like us to review information held about you.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us to access, correct or delete information associated with your enquiry, or to stop optional follow-up, by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Applicable rights and exceptions depend on the law governing your request. We do not require you to send identity documents through the public contact form.
Security and international processing
We use access controls and technical safeguards appropriate to the website and the information involved. No website or email service can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. If an engagement requires specific data-location or security arrangements, these must be agreed before sensitive material is shared.
Children and external websites
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate. Links to other websites are governed by those websites’ own privacy notices.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page when our website practices materially change. The date below identifies this version. Questions about the notice can be sent to [email protected].
